 Family Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses with either a Masters or Ph.D. in Nursing. FNPs have intensive training in primary healthcare and treating the entire family from birth to end of life with the ability to diagnose, order testing such as imaging studies, prescribe medicines, and refer to specialists when necessary.

Sandy Doyal APRN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner

Sandy’s passion is nursing but she is especially excited about women’s health including Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. She has personally experienced the dramatic healing of functional medicine and continues to train on the most up to date information so that she can offer the most innovative care to her clients. Sandy feels a synergistic blend of Western and Functional medicine can offer patients the best outcome.

Sandy received her diploma in nursing from Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has been nationally certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse and currently holds national certification for Inpatient Obstetrical Nursing as well as being an inductee into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Sandy’s nursing experience has been concentrated in cardiac ICU and women’s health including Labor and Delivery. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her downtime, Sandy enjoys traveling, writing, spending time with her grandchildren, and adventures with her husband.


Krysta Turknett APRN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner

Krysta had always had a passion for taking care of others. She sees her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner as a patient advocate above all else. Her approach to healthcare is to discuss options with clients and work together to build long-lasting relationships to improve overall health and wellness. She has a passion for preventive healthcare and empowering clients to live their best life.

Krysta received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She has been nationally certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse and awarded a “Top 25 Nurse” for the Baylor Scott and White Healthcare system. Krysta’s nursing experience includes Surgical and Trauma ICU and inpatient care management. She is certified as Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, gardening, traveling, and lake days.


Sativa Lackey, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner

Sativa has been in the healthcare setting since 2000. She has significant interest in helping her patients become the best version of themselves. Preventative care and cutting edge bio identical hormone replacement therapy have a unique place in our current healthcare setting. This integrative approach is where our clients can thrive.

Sativa received her bachelor's degree and her masters degree from University of Texas at Arlington and she is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner's. She has a background in critical care nursing including two Level One trauma centers. In her downtime, she has plenty to keep her busy with six children and four grandchildren, the off days are busy and full of fun. 


Shannon Jamison, HHP
Holistic Health Practitioner

Shannon is passionate about helping people become a healthier version of themselves. Her mission is to see women transformed from EXHAUSTED to EMPOWERED! She uses a whole person approach of rebalancing deficiencies and making lifestyle changes to help improve overall symptoms while healing the body.

Shannon has 21 years experience in Natural Medicine. She started this journey by working for a physician in Austin who was a pioneer in in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). In 2002 she started working at a local pharmacy supporting BHRT, wellness and supplements while continuously learning from pharmacists, webinars, and product manufacturers. In 2015 she received two different Certifications: Holistic Home and Family; and Foundations of Holistic Science from Natural Healing College - California. She has also received her diploma as a Holistic Health Practitioner from Natural Healing College - California. Shannon is Board Certified and Commissioned through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Shannon has served our community with Atkins Pharmacy for 18 years until recently joining our practice. She is currently continuing her education to obtain further certification as Integrative Health Practitioner.
